TEAM LEAD - SUMMER DAY CAMP

Full-time, Temporary (8 weeks) 

Are you a responsible, creative and energetic person who likes to spend time playing games and having fun with kids? Do you like a work environment that is active and changing daily? Do you like sports, arts and crafts? If yes, this might be a perfect summer opportunity for you! The Bearspaw Community Association is looking for a TEAM LEAD for our 2025 Summer Day Camp program for 6-12 year olds. Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, the Team Lead is responsible for planning and leading the other counsellors and campers in the daily activities of the camp, including crafts, sports, and games. Additional responsibilities include helping with other events and day to day operations, the completion of administrative duties if required, and maintaining smooth, cooperative, and professional relations with staff, campers, and parents at all times. Ideally, you are at least 18 years of age and have previous experience working with children. Police background check completed, or willing to provide by the start of employment. CPR certified, or willing to certify by the start of employment. This is a full time, summer contract position. Hourly Rate: $21. Our camp runs daily from 9AM - 4PM, from July7 – August 29, 2025. The team Lead must be available to work all 8 weeks. CAMP COUNSELLOR - SUMMER DAY CAMP

Full-time, Temporary (8 weeks) 

Are you an out-going, creative and energetic person who likes to spend time playing games and having fun with kids? Do you like an active work environment with different things to do every day? Do you like sports, arts and crafts? If yes, this might be a perfect summer opportunity for you! The Bearspaw Community Association is looking for a CAMP COUNSELLOR for our 2025 Summer Day Camp program for 6-12 year olds. Under the supervision of the Team Lead, the camp counsellors are responsible for leading the campers in the daily activities of the camp, including crafts, sports, and games. Additional responsibilities include maintaining smooth, cooperative, and professional relations with other staff, campers, and parents. Ideally, you are at least 14 years of age and can demonstrate responsibility and maturity, as well as a comfortability with kids. You have some cool special interests and /or talents that might be beneficial to a kids’ camp environment. This is a summer contract position with hours per week to be discussed and determined. Our camp runs daily from 9AM - 4PM, from July 7 – August 29, 2025. Counsellors must be available to work for all 8 weeks.
